Led by a licensed speech-language pathologist, this intensive five-session program uses explicit, evidence-based instruction to target skills that support successful reading. Sessions are structured, supportive, and engaging, while encouraging students to make meaningful progress and become life-long readers.

At Reading Bootcamp, we’ll focus on:

• Phonemic Awareness - Learners play with individual sounds in words through fun games that build the foundation for reading success.

• Speech Sounds - Children master correct pronunciation of tricky sounds using stories and multisensory activities.

• Decoding/Reading - Students connect letters to sounds and practice with engaging decodable texts.

• Spelling - Budding writers learn to map sounds and words through hands-on activities, like magnetic letters, whiteboards, and word games.

• Literacy-Based Intervention - Children experience the joy of reading through interactive read-alouds and engaging comprehension activities.

• Extension Activities - Creative projects reinforce literacy skills as children illustrate story characters, create mini-books, and participate in dramatic play connected to their reading adventures.

These one-on-one sessions are led by a licensed speech-language pathologist and use explicit, evidence-based instruction to target decoding, fluency, comprehension, and the language skills that support strong reading. Intervention is tailored to each student’s unique learning profile, providing focused, supportive instruction that builds confidence and promotes meaningful, lasting progress. Intervention sessions can be provided in-person or via telehealth. Minimum one-week commitment required.
